Emer Patten was appointed Broadcast Producer for the London Wembley flagship show as part of the Concerts for a Climate in Crisis action, spearheaded by Vice President Al Gore and inspired by his Academy Award winning film “An Inconvenient Truth.” Emer’s role included talent reach-outs, devising special moments for the show, and supervision of the overall broadcast. This was one of those projects that you live, sleep and breathe, and was an honour to be involved with. Live Earth 2007 featured the most ambitious media architecture and drew 2 billion viewers through its combination of terrestrial and digital broadcasters across all media.
